About the event

Just before the new moon, in the waning crescent moon phase, we'll use this time of quiet reflection to reset and truly awaken to the energy of new beginnings that spring offers us. In this workshop, the first hour of restorative yoga will prepare you on all levels for an amazing extended shavasana (final relaxation) to truly receive the healing vibrations of hour long sound bath.

Usually because of comfort, most sound baths are barely an hour long. In this workshop however, you'll be soothed with sound healing instruments in each restorative pose. Restorative yoga uses props to "do" the postures for you so you can just "be". This powerful combination of yoga and sound will allow you to both consciously relax and receive in profound ways, bringing all levels of the body, mind, and spirit into harmony.

Using props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets for extra support, you will hold postures long enough to really let go and experience all of their yummy benefits. Ruby will have at least three gongs and also play a variety of sound healing instruments like crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and the ocean drum to allow you to go deeper into your relaxation.

There will also most likely be one or two intuitive energy workers there to support you in releasing and grounding. The event concludes with tea, sweets, snacks, and community.
