About the event
An immersive all-night journey of sound, rest, and vibrational healing.
Join us for a magical overnight experience that will awaken your senses and nourish your soul. Led by world-renowned gong musician Mike Tamburo from Pittsburgh, alongside Brooke Susan and Rachel SantaOlalla, this immersive journey blends the power of sound healing with the serenity of sleep, creating a one-of-a-kind event hosted by Inspire Studio.
Step into a world of sonic alchemy, where the boundaries of time and consciousness dissolve. Mike, a master of 40 overtone-rich instruments—including gongs, bells, sound sculptures, and hammered dulcimer—will weave an intricate tapestry of resonant tones designed to harmonize your body, mind, and spirit. As the gongs play continuously throughout the night, their gentle yet powerful waves will wash over you, supporting deep meditation, cellular healing, and energetic transformation.
Rooted in the sacred tradition of Gong Puja and based on the teachings of Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux, this immersive experience follows ten 45-minute cycles, mirroring the body's natural sleep rhythms. Each cycle supports subconscious clearing, energetic alignment, and deep nervous system restoration, allowing you to reset, awaken higher awareness, and emerge replenished, balanced, and deeply attuned to your inner self.
As the night unfolds, allow yourself to drift into restful slumber or dive into mindful contemplation. The gentle yet powerful waves of sound will wash over you, harmonizing your body, mind, and spirit. Whether this is your first sound bath or you’re a seasoned participant, the experience will leave you feeling deeply renewed and aligned.

Create your own cozy sanctuary for the night!
While some blankets, bolsters, cushions, and silk eye pillows with optional lavender aromatherapy essential oils will be available, your comfort is key to fully immersing in the experience. You will be lying down for many hours on a hardwood floor, so please bring whatever you need to be truly comfortable. A yoga mat alone likely will not be enough. Bring whatever helps you sleep at night. Here are some suggestions:
🔹 For Comfortable Rest:
Camping mat, yoga mat/Pilates mat combo, folding futon, or nova foam pad
Reclining camping chair or anti-gravity chair (great for those with low back issues)
Cozy blanket(s) and pillow
Eye mask
🔹 Extras for Support & Relaxation:
Water bottle
Earplugs (in case you're sensitive to certain frequencies)
Each prop can have a powerful influence on your ability to relax and sink deeper into the rest-and-digest state, allowing you to receive the most benefit—so it's best to be prepared.
Tea and snacks will be served afterward, but feel free to bring your own water bottle and/or thermos.
Come rest, dream, and awaken within the sound.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
If you can’t attend, please get in touch. Refunds are typically given when cancellations are made 24 hours before the event starts, as space is limited and we’d like time to contact the waiting list. However, you’re welcome to give your ticket to someone else or let Ruby know what future event or class you’d like to use your credit for.
Note on Hearing Aids:
We cannot guarantee that the sound will be pleasing with hearing aids. If you’re not accustomed to using them in sound healing scenarios, you may want to take them out or turn them down during the sound journey. Positioning yourself closer to the front can help with hearing any guidance.

Mike Tamburo:
Mike Tamburo is a world-renowned musician, composer, artist and educator. He is known and loved for his transformational live concerts performed on his personally curated set of gongs, bells and other metal instruments.
A lifelong multi-instrumentalist, Tamburo has focused his talents on metal percussion instruments, string instruments (hammered dulcimer, guitar, zither, shahi baaja), as well as electronic instruments (synths, looping).
Since 1994, Tamburo has shared more than 2,000 concerts and workshops. He has recorded over 70 albums, both solo and in collaboration with Crown of Eternity, Meisha, Arco Flute Foundation, Psychic Frost, Brother Ong and more, ranging from epic gong music to ecstatic and transcendental string music, as well as folk, drone, space rock, ambient, mantra music and sometimes unclassifiable sounds. This man loves music in all its forms!
He teaches gong music, both in person and online with School of Gong. He is also a part of the far-reaching ethnomusicology trio, Dig Deeper, with Mitch Nur and Thomas Orr Anderson. Their online classes have explored countless musical concepts with a focus on the cultural and personal uses of sound for healing, meditation, trance, ecstatic states, relaxation, self transformation, perception, psycho-acoustics, scientific discovery, time and community.
An early adoptee of meditation, Tamburo’s music offers space for journeying, self-exploration and deep introspection. During many of his early performances, he experienced altered states of consciousness and out of body experiences. To understand these experiences, he explored kundalini yoga, energy work, the therapeutic use of sound and how sound impacts consciousness, human perception and self healing. His love for long sustained drones, overtones and psychoacoustics continues to inspire him to explore music in further directions.
Tamburo is also an interdisciplinary sound artist, instrument builder, video artist, sound therapist, writer and meditation teacher.
