About the event
In the midst of a busy fall season, let Ruby’s Planetary Moon, Earth, and Chiron Gongs, along with her crystal bowls, chimes, ocean drum, and more, help you find balance and set fresh intentions. After a short centering, you’ll be guided into a 50-minute sound bath designed to relax your body and clear your mind—all for just $10!
These Parks & Rec sound baths are some of Ruby’s favorites because they’re affordable, accessible, and beginner-friendly. They’re perfect for anyone curious about sound healing, including kids over 6 and elders who may not usually come to this type of event.
Ruby will play specific instruments at key moments to take you on a journey of relaxation and renewal. Gongs are often used in the middle of the session for a deep “sonic massage,” while bowls, chimes, and the ocean drum help close the session with clarity and calm. No prior experience is needed—simply lie back, listen, and let the sounds meet you where you are.

What to bring: A sound bath is usually experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position, so you'll want to bring some cozy padding, especially since the floor is really hard and the room is large and can feel cool (yoga/Pilates/thick blanket/camping mat), to lay on, or even a camping or zero gravity chair (reclining camping chair), a pillow, blanket(s) and eye covering.
Note: this is not the most acoustic room, so you may want to bring ear plugs if you're sensitive to sound.
Cancellation Policy: Because this event is being hosted by Bellingham Parks and Rec, their policies apply, which usually include preregistration and no refunds. However, if you can't make it, please contact me and I am happy to give you a credit toward one of my classes or events.
Work Exchange: Ruby can usually use a few helpers for setup/take down, so if you're interested, text her at 360-447-8778.
