Yin & Kundalini Yoga

Connect with yourself and shine back to planet Earth. As we quiet the mind, we become present and experience the part of us that is connected to all things. This class combines the restorative power of yin and Kundalini yoga to provide deep relaxation. Practice will include Kundalini yoga kriyas, meditations, and sound healing, along with restorative yin poses to allow the body to heal, relax, and restore itself.

Ashley/Tera Jot Kaur

Tera Jot Kaur (Ashley Fullenwider) teaches Kundalini yoga to bridge that sweet distance between the mind and the heart, offering a strong, wise, grounding practice focused on breathwork, intuition, and self-actualization. Students will find a welcoming calm vibe that is accessible to people of all abilities. Tera Jot learned the value of stillness and the regenerative power of sound from yoga, and she fell in love with Kundalini yoga because it offers a direct experience of sound through mantra, chanting, music and gong. As a life-long traveler and speaker of foreign languages, sound vibration is fundamental to Tera Jot’s experience of the world. Kundalini yoga offers an unparalleled experience and awareness of the power of sound vibration and her classes and workshops will highlight this magic. Tera Jot’s yoga journey was also strongly influenced by leadership and social justice trainings through Off the Mat Into the World, a nonprofit that connects yogis with their purpose in order to create strong, honest advocates. Tera Jot will complete her 220 hour KRI Kundalini Yoga Level 1 Certification in fall 2019 and completed her 200 hour vinyasa teaching training in 2018 in Bellingham, WA.
